NET OF DECEPTION
In this contemporary novel, the malevolent owner of an online pharmaceutical dispensary exerts his power over clients through a series of contemptuous actions—taking lives and destroying reputations, though carefully planned internet data-mining schemes.
A wealthy businessman, a U.S. senator, and a hospital administrator fall victim to the loss of control of personal information shared on the internet. A renowned surgeon and FBI special agents share their knowledge and expertise in identifying and exposing the cyber criminals.
This book takes you through a network of medical applications and computer advancements, as criminals and investigators utilize internet data and advanced information technologies to interact with their targets.
Our increased dependence and utilization of the internet to obtain products, socially interact, and conduct business, has made us vulnerable to corrupt behavior within the cyber-ecosphere. This novel portends a frightening look at how we are all subject to nefarious technological activity which can adversely impact all of our lives.
OTHER BOOKS IN THE TRILOGY
CONSEQUENCE OF MURDER
Deep in the research labs of University Hospital, a biochemical engineer has developed a new material that he designed to behave in a specific biological manner. The co-developer of this product is a renowned surgeon with an impeccable reputation, using it for the first time on his patients.
A large pharmaceutical company engaged in opioid manufacturing and marketing, is attempting to promote the sale of its product to unscrupulous doctors — a whistle-blower in the drug industry unravels a patter of illegal drug-promotion, and becomes an
innocent target.
These seemingly separate events become linked through deception, manipulation and intrigue within a hospital environment that makes us all unnerved. It is both entertaining and frightening to read how vulnerable we can all be as patients.
Murder, money and greed come together with a seemingly untraceable method of death. This mandates a close read of the Consequence of Murder.
TO CURE OR KILL
The pharmaceutical industry applies evolving scientific knowledge to create new drugs and potential life-saving therapies. The pharmaceutical companies also reap significant financial gains from their drug and therapeutic developments. This monetary incentive could potentially result in aggressive inter-pharmaceutical company espionage.
In this novel, a profit-driven pharmaceutical executive seizes upon an opportunity to turn the discovery of a new cancer preventing drug into a massive profit and industry-competitive advantage. Using dangerous individuals with deadly skills and intent, the executive tries to nefariously obtain the necessary molecular protocol to create the next generation of oncologic drugs.
Through a detailed medical and scientific investigation, doctors, scientists, and law enforcement agencies work together to understand and identify what is occurring in the shadows.
This is a frightening story of scientific discovery versus greed and the quest for money. At the end of the novel, the reader will need to ask him or herself the underlying question: is this story really fiction?
