Where Have I Been Lately?

Actually, that image/headline combo is a bit misleading. :) I have not been to Hollywood lately. Not even Hollywood, Maryland, which isn't all that far from where I live. I just have no reason to go there.

I mention it only because I'm going to be directing a short film. It's called "Absolution" and it's about a priest who once killed people for a living having to face the consequences while taking confession. I adapted it from my own unpublished short story.

In fact, we recently held a "blocking rehearsal." That was a first for me. Well, so is directing a short film. But, then, once upon a time, so was writing a freaking novel.

Oh, and I'm pleased to say that the Crime Cafe made this list: 20 Best Crime Fiction Podcasts. So, yay!

I'll enjoy it while it lasts. :)

And, of course, I've been reviewing books and movies.
